NEOPOP presents WSNWG LIVE at Lisboa ao Vivo (LAV) in Lisbon on 16 October, with Rødhåd, .Vril, Dasha Rush, Peryl and UFO 95. The five artists come together for a single live set built in real time through improvisation. It is the first time they share the stage. WSNWG Live has previously been presented at Berghain in Berlin and at festivals such as Dekmantel. Get your ticket here

Coming to Lisbon for WSNWG LIVE? If you have some time before the party, here are three places worth checking out around Marvila and Xabregas. From old wine warehouses and alternative culture to a proper Portuguese dinner and a drink before heading to LAV.

8 Marvila: Wine Warehouses, Art and Alternative Culture

Praça David Leandro da Silva, 8.
Set in former wine warehouses, 8 Marvila has a mix of creative spaces, art, independent projects and places to grab a drink. It’s a good spot to wander around and get a feel for a different, more alternative side of Lisbon.

Marítima de Xabregas: Grilled Codfish and Traditional Portuguese Food

Rua da Manutenção, 40.
For dinner, head to this traditional Portuguese restaurant, known for its grilled fish and meat. And if there’s one thing you should order, it’s the grilled codfish. Honestly, it’s to die for!

ZDB 8 Marvila: A Drink Before the Party at LAV

Praça David Leandro da Silva, 2.
Finish with a drink at Galeria Zé dos Bois (ZDB), an independent cultural space with an alternative crowd and a programme focused on music and contemporary art. A good place to meet up, have a drink and get in the mood before heading to LAV.

Getting Around Marvila and Xabregas on Foot

8 Marvila and ZDB are just a couple of minutes apart on foot. Marítima de Xabregas is around 15–20 minutes’ walk away, so allow a little extra time to get around.
