Sarah Farina is a visionary DJ and producer with the aim to break down borders. On top she’s also an activist – but in a very positive way. A well reflected and smart power lady with whom you could talk for hours – about funny non-sense, as well as highly political topics. She’s one of Berlin’s premier DJs with musical connections to the whole world. A pure bliss in a scene that is sometimes ego driven.

This article is also available as podcast on Spotify and iTunes.

In this interview we are talking about:

  • Why she doesn’t take drugs and drinks no alcohol and her vegan lifestyle
  • Her happy Rainbow Bass sound
  • Her upcoming project with the Goethe Institute and the Africa Tour
  • Racism and feminism – how to handle those highly political topics in everyday life and in the techno business
  • How to keep the balance in life
  • Her favourite festivals this year so far
  • The collective Through My Speakers
  • Berlin vs. Bavaria, the area she grew up
  • Her favourite spots in Berlin
  • Her favourite countries
