Born and based in Marseille, French melodic house producer NTO has been performing worldwide for nearly 10 years. Tomorrowland, Printworks, Sonar, Dour, and some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals in the world have hosted his live shows. But Marseille is home. In this travel guide, NTO takes us through his personal side of the city, from seafood in Les Goudes and coffee in Malmousque to sunset walks, art, pizza and places to listen to music.

His new album ’Naked' is out on October 16th and available to pre-order now. NTO explores his personal reconstruction, and as suggested with the album title, it oscillates between grounding and accepting vulnerability.

NTO’s Favourite Places in Marseille

1. Best Restaurant in Marseille: L’Espaï du Grand Bar des Goudes

Nestled in the heart of Les Goudes, it's a great spot for fish soup and seafood. They even won the award for the best bouillabaisse in the world!

2. Coffee in Marseille: Chez Cécile, Malmousque

A little café in Malmousque that I really love. Perfect for a coffee and a sandwich before or after a stroll around the neighborhood.

3. Art & Culture in Marseille: FACES Gallery

A fantastic gallery in the Endoume district, always with great exhibitions. I even organized a pop-up there to preview NAKED, my album which is being released on October 16th.

4. Best Walk in Marseille: The Corniche at Sunset

Walk along the Corniche at sunset. The views of the city and the sea change at every turn; it's one of the most beautiful ways to experience Marseille.

5. Where to Listen to Music in Marseille: Baby Club

Back in the day, there was Le Baou, a great outdoor venue that sadly no longer exists. Today, I'd say Baby Club: a small club in the city center with a cool lineup and a good sound system.

6. Pizza in Marseille: L'Eau à la Bouche

Simple and effective: thin crust and truly excellent pizzas. A sure bet.

7. A Personal Marseille Favourite: The Port and the Ferry to Corsica

More than a place, it's a ritual. Taking the ferry from Marseille to Corsica, where we live, is a trip we've made every year since we were little to see family and friends. Naturally, it's part of my Marseille.
